Aston Martin has revised its business plan and will launch 10 new models by 2021 according to Car magazine.The new Aston Martin Vantage will use the 4.0 liter V8 bi-turbo Mercedes-AMG engine.

With a 700 million pounds investment programme supported by a hedge found, Aston Martin will launch 10 new models by 2021. Besides the traditional models, Aston Martin will enter in new segments completely new for the famous british brand.

Aston Martin will use a new platform with light materials as a replacement for the VH architecture developed under Ford era. In 2017, Aston Martin will introduce the new DB11 Volante and the completely new V8 Aston Martin Vantage.

The second generation Aston Martin Vantage will be lighter, sportier and more agile and will use the new 4.0 liter V8 bi-turbo Mercedes-AMG engines instead of the former naturally aspirated 4.7 liter V8 from Jaguar.

In 2018 will follow V8 Aston Martin Vantage Roadster, the new Vanquish which will bear the name DBS according to Car magazine, Rapide E and a hypercar designed by Adrian Newey and sponsorized by Red Bull.

DBS will be placed above the new DB11 and will feature a more powerful V12 turbo with over 700 HP and 850 Nm sent only to the rear wheels.

Aston Martin DBX

In 2019, Aston Martin will launch the first crossover from its history. As we already mention, DBX will use also the new Aston Martin aluminium platform and not a Mercedes GLE platform. Aston Martin CEO, Andy Palmer, said that Aston must focus on dynamic and agility and not on off-road capabilities.

In 2020 will follow DBS Volante and Rapide replacement.
