Mercedes-Benz is moving forward with preparing the reveal of the completely new 2019 Mercedes GLE. Now, photographs of the interior have surfaced online.
Previously we could already see large parts of the interior of the new 2019 Mercedes GLE, but thanks to Car NEWS China we can now view the entire dashboard. The new model will be released this year.
Completely as expected, the interior of the new 2019 Mercedes GLE will be equipped with large digital displays, two 12,3 inch units placed behind the steering wheel and optically connected to each other.
Unique within the Benz family are the really gigantic outflow openings on both sides of the screens, although the right ones are possible ‘fake’. For even more air flow, Mercedes uses the four smaller ones in the center console. In order to emphasize the off-road bias of the GLE, Mercedes-Benz places a handle on the middentunnel for both the driver and the co-driver, a design cue that Mercedes-Benz has not even used in the new G-Class.
The new GLE Class has already appeared several times in front of the lens of spy photographers. Mercedes even allowed journalists to enjoy a first batch of passenger test drives behind the wheel of camouflaged pre-production models, as we already reported last week.
