2020 Mercedes-AMG E 63 facelift is coming. The performance model will rely on a series of aesthetic changes and will be equipped with a slightly more comfortable suspension.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class facelift was introduced last month. The Germans prepared small design changes, an interior full of modern technologies and support systems and mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid engines.

Fans of the performance versions have nothing to worry about: the 2020 Mercedes-AMG E 63 facelift will be unveiled by the end of this month.

Aesthetically, the Germans are preparing a Pan Americana front grille, larger air intakes, a new splitter, a restyled rear spoiler and a redesigned deck. Inside, the performance version will take over the new elements introduced on the E-Class facelift, including the MBUX multimedia system, but will also add a series of sports accessories.

According to voices close to the company, the engine range of the future 2020 Mercedes-AMG E 63 facelift will not undergo transformations. The Germans will not introduce the mild-hybrid versions equipped with the EQ Boost system, and only a V8 engine will be available, as before.

Therefore, the Mercedes-AMG E 63 will still be powered by the 4.0-liter V8 with two turbos. In the E 63, that configuration is good for 571 hp and 750 Nm of torque. The E 63 S delivers no less than 612 hp and 850 Nm. The top speed of both versions is caped at 250 km / h, although the AMG Drivers Pack can increase it to 300 km / h.

At the same time, the reports mention a number of improvements to the suspension. Customers complained about the firmness of the running gear, which is why AMG engineers will come up with a solution more oriented towards comfort.
