If you ever wondered how would the new 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class look like in T-Modell guise, here is your chance to see the new model in close to production clothes.
Following the widely publicized debut of the all-new 2017 E-Class, Mercedes is going full steam ahead, already preparing to bring to market the T-Modell variant.
Until Mercedes will unveil its new family oriented E-Class, X-Tomi Design is giving us a glimpse of things to come. His interpretation follows closely the sedan in therms of stance and general proportions, revealing a silhouette which successfully mimics that of the smaller C-Class T-Modell.
The only detail that seems to differentiate the E-Class from its sibling being its tauter, slightly sportier proportions.
In therms of technology and running gear, the T-Modell won’t bring any surprises compared to the already unveiled sedan. Everything is fresh and forward thinking, from the lightweight construction and the record drag coefficient of 0.23, to the two large 12.3-inch displays dominating the dashboard.
The pinnacle of the new E-Class range will be the all-new 2-liter diesel engine (code named OM654) which comes in two flavors: 110 kW / 150 hp for the E 200 d (not available right from the outset) and 143 kW / 195 hp for the E 220 d. FIND OUT EVERYTHING ABOUT THE NEW E-CLASS SEDAN HERE.
