Are you ready? The time has come to flip the switch and shape the mobility of tomorrow. The future begins in Paris. That is all Mercedes-Benz reveals about the electric vehicle set to be revealed in just 48 hours.
Will it be a big-size sedan? Will it come in the shape of a SUV? The latter seems more like it. Either way, the electric Mercedes, already placed at the very heart of the company’s futuristic stand in Paris, will preview one of what could be a whole range of four all-electric models. The line-up will go under the EQ sub-brand, a name already registered by the company.
The car that we are set to see in two days from now will be based on the new MEA platform and shall feature an electric range of approximately 500 kilometers (310 miles), all provided by the lithium-ion battery supplied by Daimler’s subsidiary Deutsche ACCUMOTIVE. The system will enable the Combined Charging technology (CCS) of quick charging, a world premiere as well.
