After Brabus surprised the public a few months back with the lifestyle upgrade applied on the new smart fortwo, here comes a batch of spy-photos showing the german pocket-rocket in detail.

As it looks, we only had to wait a few months for the first appearance of as smart fortwo Brabus prototype, the brand’s new pocket-rocket based on the newest version of the model presented this summer.

You can clearly see that Brabus had a lot to say on this prototype from the big rear wheels and the dual exhaust pipes, in an attempt to differentiate itself from the standard smart fortwo.

Moreover, the smart forwto Brabus prototype features a new set of more aggresive spoilers, darker lights, a unique front grille, modified bumpers plus sportier touches inside and possibly, more appealing colour options.

Nothing was been yet officially confirmed, but the new smart fortwo Brabus might be powered by a tuned version of the 0.9-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine, solution which could produce between 110 and 120 hp.

This power output is rumoured to be managed by a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox with sportier settings, while a lowered sports suspension will be responsible of keeping the smart fortwo Brabus on the asphalt. In addition, Brabus might also fine tune the steering and the electronic drive systems to round-up the package.

Regarding the official debut, we might see the new smart fortwo Brabus on the Swiss stage, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
