As the opening race weekend of the new seasons gets closer and closer, Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team announced that Bose become team’s Official Team Partner in Sound.
Bose was founded in 1964 in the United Stated and it is a famous provider of quality home cinema, music and loudspeaker systems. Bose quickly became a global brand celebrated for its commitment to innovation and “Better Sound through Research”.
Mercedes AMG Petronas will be using a wide range of Bose latest products, like the QuietComfort headphones or SoundTouch wireless music systems. As expected, the iconic Bose logo will feature on the racesuits and helmets of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, on the helmets of the Mercedes F1 pit crew and also on team’s trackside clothing.
Colette Burke, vice president Bose Europe, agreed that “we’re excited to join the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team, as we share a similar passion for performance and commitment to excellence. The proprietary technology found in our products will help the team as they prepare, travel, and perform together at every global Formula One race.”
On the ther hand, Toto Wolff, head of Mercedes-Benz Motorsport, said that Mercedes is delighted to have a partner like Bose. “Our two companies share key founding philosophies; the importance of research and innovation and the relentless pursuit of excellence.”
Wolff declared that being part of a Formula 1 team is an extremely demanding lifestyle, as the Mercedes F1 travelling personnel already enjoys a unique experience on long journeys around the world, thanks to Bose’s QuietComfort noise cancelling headphones.
