The Mercedes G-Class in itself has a great future, but the days of the G 65 with its V12 engine are counted. For the grand finale, Mercedes is presenting the super-off-road vehicle as a Final Edition.
At the end of the Mercedes-AMG G 65, AMG offers an exclusive Final Edition. It is limited to 65 copies worldwide. The particularly expressive final edition reflects the success story of the world’s most powerful series off-roader. More than every third G-Class sold worldwide is from AMG.
On the drive side, nothing changes. The 6.0-liter V12 engine, which is hidden underneath a carbon / aluminum engine cover, continues to deliver 630 hp and the maximum torque remains at 1,000 Nm. The power transmission to all four wheels continues to be made by the well-known seven-speed automatic transmission. This accelerates the AMG G-Class from zero to 100 km / h in 5.3 seconds, the top speed is 230 km / h (electronically limited).
Expressive exterior, high-quality interior
In the dynamic exterior design of the G 65 Final Edition, 21-inch light-alloy wheels in the 5-twin-spoke design in bronze, silver brake calipers and the side AMG sports trim emphasize the sporty appearance. Further accents are bronze matte features such as the underride protection, bumper parts, the rims and the exterior mirrors as well as the spare wheel cover in obsidian black with an appropriately designed inlay. The radiator grille is fitted with a black finish and a bronze matt lacquered border. Kickboards and tailpipes are matte black. Inserts in the outer protection strips in high-gloss black round the picture.
Also in the interior, the special model is characterized by high-quality design: sharp nappa leather seats with carbon-look and ornamental seams in light brown, the milled edition-lettering in the headrests as well as floor mats with leather mountings in light brown and decorative seam in black. The driver sits behind the flattened Nappa leather AMG performance steering wheel. The ride is particularly comfortable thanks to the seat comfort package including multicontour seats and seat climate control for the driver and front passenger.
The positioning of the Mercedes G 65 Final Edition special model remains unchanged. With a basic price of 310,233 euros, the Super-G remains the most expensive model in the Mercedes range. The normal G 65 costs from 275.723 euros. The 65 specimens of the luxury off-road vehicle can be ordered now.
