If you can’t make it to the Mercedes-Benz Driving Events, you can go through the breathtaking experience in your very own room. The new Project CARS 2 racing game puts driver on the exclusive frozen lake race track of the event via PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The racing game was developed by globally Slightly Mad Studios and is being published, marketed and distributed by BANDAI NAMCo Entertainment Group. The game will be released on September 22nd.

The game will take players straight to the racetrack improvised near the Arctic Circle, designed by the Formula 1 track architect Hermann Tilke. It is 15-kilometer long and it goes across the lake in the town of Sorsele.

Extreme winter conditions put the participants’ driving skills to the test, under the strict surveillance and guidance of experienced professional instructors. The experience is now being transferred, as realistically as it can get, in the Project CARS 2 racing game, giving fans from all over the world the chance to live up to the occasion at home. Mercedes-Benz is giving them no less than 13 cars to choose from.

After several location visits, participation in trainings, on ice and snow, data analytics put together, the track conditions were successfully transferred to the game to simulate realistic vehicle handling and drifting.
